You can start a Limited Partnership if you want to create a durable cooperation between two types of business partners: general partners (whose liability is unlimited) and limited partners (whose liability is in principle limited to the amount of their equity contribution). The management of the Limited Partnership must be performed by the general partners. The limited partners only contribute money and they cannot act on behalf of the Limited Partnership. Otherwise they will also become liable for the debts of the Limited Partnership.
